"An ancient and corrupted dragon began ravaging the universe killing it's kin and bending toward ultimate destruction. The old gods were killed by the thousands and from their blood the young gods sprung forth.
Ultimately the dragon is killed by the last old gods who themselves die. In death the body of the dragon curled into an egg-like ball with the bodies of the old gods packed tightly around forming the dead earth. From the blood of the ancient dragon comes the lesser dragons we know today.
It happened that sometimes the blood of both the old gods and the ancient dragon mingles from which come the demons. The demons were driven from the world by the young gods and the lesser dragons for they both abhorred the corruption.
The young gods and the lesser dragons reached a compromise binding the ball of the old gods and the ancient dragon together. The young god and the lesser dragons then breathed life into it forming Cazélon, the world, and placed it in motion around Daon Kel (the sun) and his wife Iulia Kel (the moon) watches closely over Cazélon."

[edit] The World of Cazélon
The Keshyran Campaign is a fantasy role playing game campaign setting for games like Basic Roleplaying.
Keshyré is a world in conflict and rife with magic, as the veil between the realms of light and darkness thins, and ancient evils reawaken to contend with the new gods and their champions for mastery.
Keshyré is a world plunged in darkness where the heroes must strive to correct the balance so the innocent may survive. It is a world that is broken and many are trying to repair. The ideas of good and evil, law and chaos, and right and wrong are often blurred; a bloodthirsty brigand, while bad may fight diligently against the ancient demons, and is not nearly as horrific as the destruction brought by the those evils. The separation between the spirit and material worlds has become so thin that strange magical phenomenon are known to erupt into the world with seemingly no cause. The young gods play a very direct hand in the lives of their followers and actively punish those who defy their creed. Conversely the gods will reward their most loyal worshipers with great power. Keshyré is also a world of Machiavellian politics and intrigue where one's closest ally may be also be one's greatest enemy.
